He was a stray that was never claimed at an animal shelter. We don't know what kind of life he may have lived, but he came to us very scared and untrusting. But he is learning to trust and is slowly becoming the wonderful dog he was meant to be. UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: Koby is making so much progress in foster care. He is really a very sweet dog, but has a tendency to get picked on by other dogs, so walks around grumbling so they will leave him alone. What he really wants is to be snuggled and held and left alone by the other dogs. Koby is a LOT smaller than he looks in the pictures and is really a cute dog. He is just misunderstood. He has a definite personality that I find endearing. He would prefer to be an only dog or be with a very gentle dog that wouldn't bully him. He enjoys spending time outside and with patience will be a wonderful, loyal and loving dog. Koby is neutered and up to date on shots. He is just settling in to his foster home so as we get to know more about him, we will provide updates. The suggested donation to adopt Koda is $200-250, which is tax-deductible and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.
