She is rambunctious and loves to play all day. She loves other energetic dogs and toys. If a toy isn't near she thinks shoes are a good substitute. She is doing well on house training, rarely having accidents. She will need a fenced yard as she so enjoys romping and playing outside. This girl was surrendered to a small town shelter due to her high energy and chasing of cats so a feline free household would be best for Winnie. After being with her foster parents, she has learned to ring a bell to go out to potty (or go out and play), goes to her kennel when told, and sits on command. Winnie steals the hearts of everyone who meets her. Foster mom says that Winnie is a clown who makes it a priority to empty the toy box first thing everyday. She is gorgeous. She is taller than your average Westie. She has a pretty caramel color on the top half and white on the bottom half. The suggested donation to adopt Winnie is $250-300, which is tax-deductible and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Little White Dog Rescue requires secure fencing as a requirement to adopt the terrier breeds (invisible fencing is NOT acceptable). If chosen as this pet's new forever home you must be willing to drive to Omaha to pick up your new family member at your earliest possible convenience.
